About
We're hosting a golf tournament to honor the memory of a wonderful young man who left us way too soon. His smile brightened all our lives, and we want to keep his spirit alive. All the proceeds from the tournament will go towards a charity that reflects Reid's kindness. The second annual Reid Memorial Tournament will be on May 16th, 2026 at Diamodhead Golf Club. Thank you to everyone who came out for the first event. It was an amazing turn out! There will be some great prizes and it's sure to be another fun day, so sign up and join us!

Ready to tee it up for a great cause? Gather your dream team, come up with a legendary team name (the more creative, the better!), and get ready for a day of golf, good vibes, and giving back!
No pressure, but if you can have your team name, email, phone number, and player lineup ready, you’ll make our job a whole lot easier—and maybe even earn some extra good karma on the course!

Hope Fur Paws Dog Rescue
This tournament is more than just a game, it’s a way to honor Reid's legacy of kindness, compassion, and love for both people and animals. In his memory, all proceeds remaining after prizes will be donated to Hope Fur Paws, a non-profit dog rescue dedicated to giving animals a second chance at life. Your generosity helps support their mission and keeps Reid’s spirit alive through the care and rescue of dogs in need. Thank you for your support in making a difference, just as Reid did every day.

Frequently Asked Questions
What time should I arrive?
We will all tee off at 10am for a shotgun start. All participants need to arrive an hour before tee time for sign-in. We encourage everyone to arrive early so we can have plenty of handshakes, hugs, and high-fives before we tee off!
How can I register for the tournament?
You can register by calling Adam Friedl @ 501.463.6578 or stop by the pro shop at Diamondhead Golf Club. Address is located at the bottom of the page. $200 entry fee per team. No pressure but please try and have a team name, email, phone number, and team member names ready.
How can I donate?

Will there be a cash prize for the winners?
Absolutely! We are planning on a minimum of two flights and cash payouts for each flight. But come on people, you know you are coming for a good time with great people. Can you really put a price tag on a wonderful experience for a great cause?
What time will this event end?
We estimate that the round will take 4 - 5 hours but we encourage everyone to stay and celebrate the memory of Reid MacFarlane with his family and friends.
Will there be food provided?
We hope to have catering provided. More informaton will be available soon!
Will there be refreshments available for purchase?
Diamondhead's 19th hole will be open for food and beverages.
